"Baby Blue Fender on Grimsby St"

Description

Shot by Charles when Amy was 19, before the release of her debut album 'Frank'.

"Amy, with her baby blue fender on Grimsby Street, just off of Brick Lane in
London’s east end. This image was taken very shortly after we shot the cover
image for the ‘Frank’ album. Grimsby Street was a side street where we could
work in peace as there was just this one bike shop at the end of it, and it had
some pretty great graffiti on it too. Amy as an artist shines so strongly here, her
look to camera is full of knowing and purpose, as opposed to many others, where
we are just bumbling through things, neither of us with much of a clue as to what
we were doing. We didn’t have much, if any, real experience at this kind of thing".

Photographed in London, off of Brick Lane in June 2003.

All prints are made to order and supplied carefully packaged.

Signed by the Artist on the front
