The Strokes - 8th Avenue, New York City 2001
"These were taken on 8th Ave outside of the music building where they practiced for years. They were about to head down to Philly for the night to play a show. I had yet to get a proper group shot of them so I made sure it happened finally. I meet them as they were going to head out.
They just lined up against the van and I shot a roll of film. People were coming and going on 8th. We kept it loose. I helped them load some gear up and as about to say good bye, they were like why don’t you come. I thought... Fuck it.. Philly ain’t far!"
All prints are made to order and supplied carefully packaged.
