Patti kept telling me the images looked like Robert’s, I was in a daze and didn’t realize that she was talking about Mapplethorpe. I think she says that to all the photographs. Fun Fact Beck was double booked on the same day, I had them overlap on purpose.
When Patti walked in the studio ,Beck was jumping on a little trampoline. He was like is that Patti Smith?? He had never met her. She was very nice to Beck as well. I think he was stunned.
